Our Story
Me and my mom are starting project to help out OC Shelter Partners, here is the link their website OC Shelter Partners Website, we are going to be collecting donations and making treats to help them as a community service. We will put the link to their wish list of things they need. I think that anyone who even just supports us by reading our posts is a hero because especially now in this hard time community service is a very beautiful thing. Me and my mom have been wanting to start something like this for a long time, and we are just getting started. Our inspiration to start this came from our old dog, Sugar, who was a rescue dog we found through OC Shelters. She was amazing, but very old, and was about to be put down, then my mom found her. We took her in, not permanently, but to find a new home for her. We ended up keeping her though. She died of bone cancer two years after we got her. Me and my mom got inspired by her because she reminded us of 'The Starfish Story' (I will be putting that story on our page) because even though there are many shelter dogs, taking in Sugar still mattered. I'm hoping to continue this page for a while, and to grow into our own animal shelter.
